Tann-I Browne
Singer Tann-I Browne’s performance have been a feature of these shows since they started and we all look forward to seeing one of Leicester’s most loved and celebrated artists, with his delightful and pleasing reggae songs and cover of great Bob Marley classics. Tann-I is also a song writer and is single Can’t Get You Outta My Head can be downloaded from iTunes.

Polly Yates
Loughborough singer Polly Yates came on stage with her backing musicians to deliver great songs with lively beats and a set of superbly ear-pleasing tunes. Polly gave us plenty of mood and atmosphere. On stage with Polly was Benn Hartman (guitar), Tim Brown (drum) and Ian Crabtree (guitar.)

Nuala
The voice of Leicester singer Nuala Bennett-Wilford filled the room for a set of powerful vocals that brought strong acclaim from the audience. Nuala accompanied herself on guitar and many in the house found her rich, booming voice sensational and she held them spell-bound for the whole of her set. Nuala’s songs were all her own, original compositions. Nuala has an EP coming out in September.
Nuala appeared earlier this year in the Singers of Distinction 2013 series of shows.

Sampson
Samson Greenwave, from Northampton, saw two rap artists with a set of songs celebrating “positivity” which they delivered with engaging reggae rhythms and some earth-quaking bass lines. Advocating youth to “respect their elders”, the two guys provided an uplifting set with lots of style.

Kriss Riss
Female rappers are rare but Kriss Riss is one who has bucked the trend; her engaging spits and raps were delivered at a fast pace. An artist with sparkle and charisma, we all enjoyed her performance very much.
