Sam Bailey and Daughters of Davis
at the De Montfort Hall
Music in Leicester was at the De Montfort Hall today for sell-out show. Headlined by Leicester singer Sam Bailey, the support act was Daughters of Davis.
The two singers – Adrienne and Fern Davis – put on a superbly good performance in the first half of the evening.
We loved their chirpy stage act and beautifully harmonised singing. After opening with their take on Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, the girls went on to deliver a very appealing set of songs. In between the songs, they talked about their life on the road, as they toured the country going to gigs. A very likeable and entertaining act, we hope that Daughters of Davis will be back in Leicester some day – I think a lot of the people here tonight would like to see them again.
