Robson is a new music project, the brainchild of keyboardist & producer Asa Brown who has been a part of the London music scene for years, touring & working with bands. He is a stalwart of the ‘This Feeling’ movement.
Asa & band member Greg Gent have been recording Robson’s debut album in L.A., London & hometown Leicester for the past 12 months.
All the Love In The World is about worlds colliding in the unique times we are living in. It’s about where we are worldwide, politically.
The track features British musician ‘KAV’ now based in Los Angeles, USA, also hailing originally from Leicester, UK. He has toured & recorded with Shaun Ryder, Happy Mondays, fashion icon Zombie Boy & has been performing as a solo artist over the last few years. He recently started recording for a new project with The Smiths bass player Andy Rourke ‘Blitz Vega’.
KAV describes the track as; “the faceless grit & power of cities battling with our inner & spiritual selves. It’s a Jekyll & Hyde song; good & evil in a constant battle for your soul.”
Alongside band members Greg Gent & Asa Brown the EP features several other guest musicians including Los Angeles vocalist Dani Espinoza. Her vocals are sultry & hypnotic and add another dimension to the Robson sound.
The single ‘All The Love in The World (Couldn’t Help You)’ will be released via all major streaming & download sites on 17th August.
Robson play live as part of This Feeling in Leicester at The Y Theatre on 31st August and London at The Waterats on 1st September. Tickets are available via See Tickets, & Skiddle.
