Celebrating its 15th year, Glastonbudget is back, with the kind of stellar line up that only ‘the world’s best tribute festival’ could present. The production was founded on the premise that imitation can be just as fun as the real thing – yet far more affordable.
This year, festival revellers will be able to delight in the authentic sound, lights and ambience of Pink Floyd, Queen, The Arctic Monkeys, Abba, Blink 182, The Killers, Thin Lizzy, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bruno Mars, and many more.

However, the true strength of the event lies with the smaller stages. Since 2006, the popular three day display has also showcased a host of up-and-coming original artists. Leicester boasts a vibrant and varied music scene, and away from the main arena, festival-goers can discover a wealth of local talent.

All that singing along to your favourite songs can be thirsty work, yet many gigs are let down in the refreshments department with paltry offerings of overpriced lager. Not so Glastonbudget: as always, an attractive array of fine cask ales will also be available as well as ciders, lagers and anything else you might like to drink.
Rain forecast? – not a problem, most of the stages are in large marquees – just bring your wellies and you’ll be ready for any eventuality!
Get our comprehensive clash sheet – covering all bands across all stages over all three days.
