Take a walk through the streets of our city and it impossible not to notice to rise in people sleeping rough and it is a problem that does not seem to be going away. One organisation that has set out to help in anyway they can is Musicians Against Homelessness. Putting on gigs throughout the country with musicians devoting their time and talent in order to raise awareness about the crisis our nation is facing and sorely needed cash that provides some comfort to those who have hit hard times.
Leicester’s famous Donkey Pub is playing its part and has collected some of the city’s finest talent to perform in what is sure to be a great night of music. Classic rockers Midnight Dogs headline the evening, acoustic sensation Luke Broughton will be delivering his own unique style of emotionally driven beauty, voodoo punks Mystery Action will also be on stage along with newcomers Black Carrot.
Musicians Against Homelessness takes place The Donkey, Welford Rd on Saturday 20th April. Doors from 8pm. Tickets are priced at £5 available on the door.
