Japanese all-girl punk rockers Otoboke Beaver once again hit the UK as part of their Yamatatta tour, which commemorates their decision to quit their day jobs and focus on music full-time after the release of their latest album Itekoma Hits.
Taking their name from a love hotel in their hometown of Kyoto, their energetic riot grrrl sound has earned them a fair share of big-name fans including Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, Tom Morello of Audioslave & Rage Against the Machine, and Lars Ulrich of Metallica.
Damnably labelmates and South Korean skate punk trio Drinking Boys and Girls Choir will be supporting them at The Musician Pub on February 19 for what’s bound to be a night of high-octane tunes.
Organised by Magic Teapot and Damnably.
