If you hadn’t noticed, the 90s are well and truly back and rightfully so, maybe not in terms of fashion but certainly in terms of music. The UK produced some of it’s finest music during that decade and Tony Wright certainly played a part. Best known as the singer for Bradford rock band Terrorvision. However, when he’s not touring with Terrorvsion, he writes, records and tours under his own name with a setlist made up of songs he has written on his acoustic guitar – some upbeat, some melancholic, but all thought-provoking.
Having blown away Leicester music fans a few years ago at Simon Says, this is sure to be a packed (Sound)house. Support on the night comes from The Midnight Dogs, Gallows High and Paul J Roberts all playing one off acoustic sets.
Tony Wright plays Thursday 7th March at The Soundhouse, Southampton Street. Advance tickets are priced at £10.00 and are available from SeeTickets
